This sublime, one-of-a-kind, round Tahitian pearl measures a large 13.5mm. It's set on a 14K yellow gold bale, set with lab-grown diamonds.
This pearl has stunning luster and a bright aubergine hue, made complex with subtle flashes of gold, and all surrounded by a forest green halo. There are very minor imperfections on its backside but this top quality pearl wears perfectly.
The seven, full-cut, bezel set lab-grown diamonds each measure 1.3mm (.01 carat). Lab grown gemstones are chemically identical to naturally formed stones but are not mined and are gentler on the planet.
The bale has a 4x3mm opening.
Maia was the oldest of seven beautiful sisters in Greek mythology, known as the Pleiades. Pleiades is also the name of a constellation of stars that determines the change of seasons in Tahitian culture.
