These sublime, one-of-a-kind 9.2mm, round Tahitian pearls are each set with a round cabochon-cut, mosaic opal on 14K gold.
The pearls have spectacular luster and have dreamy silvery sky blue coloration with flashes of greens, pinks and golds to the center and glow that fades from stronger blues to lavender.
The lab-grown opals set off the colors in the pearls with their flashes of reds, greens and indigos. The advantage of lab-grown opals is that they are exactly the same chemically as a natural stone, but are more durable and should never lose their fiery tones.
The backs posts and backs are Protektor Safety, with an easy pinch system to hold the backs on without worry. These are among the most secure earring backs available.
