This sublime, one-of-a-kind, round Tahitian pearl measures a very rare and large 13.8mm. It's mounted on a 14K white gold bail, set with lab-grown diamonds.
This exceptional pearl has stunning luster and is a near-black hue, with overtones of indigos, greens and silvers giving it beautiful depth. This is an absolutely spectacular, near perfect, Tahitian A grade (GIA AAAA see our grading system here) pearl!
The seven, full-cut, bezel set lab-grown diamonds each measure 1.3mm (.01 carat). Lab grown gemstones are chemically identical to naturally formed stones but are not mined and are gentler on the planet.
The bail has a 4x3mm opening.
Maia was the oldest of seven beautiful sisters in Greek mythology, known as the Pleiades. Pleiades is also the name of a constellation of stars that determines the change of seasons in Tahitian culture.
