This sublime, one-of-a-kind, round Tahitian pearl measures a rare and large 13.2mm. It's set on a 14K yellow gold bale, set with lab-grown diamonds.
This pearl has stunning luster and is a glowing, coppery aubergine hue, with flashes of forest green giving it beautiful dimension. This is an A/B grade pearl (find out more about pearl grading here) with very minor imperfections that are over shown by its coloring and luster.
This lush color and high luster combination is very rare for a pearl of this size!
The seven, full-cut, bezel set lab-grown diamonds each measure 1.3mm (.01 carat). Lab grown gemstones are chemically identical to naturally formed stones but are not mined and are gentler on the planet.
The bale has a 4x3mm opening.
Maia was the oldest of seven beautiful sisters in Greek mythology, known as the Pleiades. Pleiades is also the name of a constellation of stars that determines the change of seasons in Tahitian culture.
