This lustrous, semi-baroque, Tahitian pearl measures about 9.3mm. It glows in a warm golden green tone, with subtle pinks to its center, and is surrounded by a darker green halo giving it dimension. There are imperfections that are drowned out by its coloration and luster.
The pearl mounted on a Sterling silver fish tail bale that dangles on a sparkling 1mm adjustable 16-20" Sterling silver chain.
We named this necklace I'a, which means fish in Tahitian, because of the fish tail shape of the bail. Fish are one of the biggest food sources in the islands and their presence means health of the natural world, abundance and a life in balance.
