This lustrous, semi-baroque Tahitian pearl measures about 9.5mm. It glows in a stunning deep purple, with indigos and bright greens to its center, and is surrounded by a near-black halo. There are very minor imperfections that are drowned out by its coloration and luster.
The pearl mounted on a 14k yellow gold fish tail bale that dangles on a sparkling .9mm adjustable 16-18" 14k yellow gold chain.
We named this necklace I'a, which means fish in Tahitian, because of the fish tail shape of the bail. Fish are one of the biggest food sources in the islands and their presence means health of the natural world, abundance and a life in balance.
