Each of our highly lustrous and colorful carved blacklip Tahitian pearl shells measure approximately 4 to 5 inches in diameter. The front side is polished and has been hand-carved by a Polynesian artisan on Tahiti, while the backside is sanded, natural shell.
Colors range from shimmery graphite to bright greens, aubergines, golds and white.
Each shell is unique with the design changing slightly depending on the artist's whim and shape of the shell. Every one is a piece of art in its own right.
Use them for displaying jewelry and other small items, to serve sauces or caviar or even as butter dishes! There are so many possible uses.
